WHEN
It was March 4th, it's over. It was Saturday. Many of us went to the Northpark Apple Store opening first, and the event ran till the wee hours.
WHERE
At PureDiscovery? HQ in Dallas' West End area [208 N. Market Street, Dallas, TX 75202]. If you take DART Rail, it's the West End stop, right up stairs from Chipotle. This should be convenient for cgriego and therealadam at least
Props to Dave Copps & Co. for opening up their office for CocoaDevHouse.
Of course, if you can't make it in person, come hang out in #cocoadevhouse on irc.freenode.net, and/or tune in to the live video stream, which will be posted here: http://www.bleepsoft.com/cdhd/
WHAT
- Time and Collaboration** Geolocation is old hat, time is the new black (just don't call it When 2.0). Join us for a code-based exploration of the possibilities in moving along, warping and annotating the time-axis.
Ideas
- Work on EventMirror?, an over-engineered and insanely ambitious enterprise-class event participation system
- Collaborate.app, a simple, LAN-based collaboration application (Think bonjour meets TextEdit?) (see the irc logs for feb 13 around 18:30)
- Audipad is an idea for a CocoaDevHouse project, to implement a note-taking application. Notes are taken in reference to an audio file's timeline. The UI Mockup is here ( http://homepage.mac.com/zacwhite/images/temp/audipad.png ) or located in the subversion repository at 129.15.101.60
- A good crash reporter... (1) something running like growl, and distributed like growl (2) a subapp that gets called when an app crashes, a la Adium (crappy idea) Along with a CrashReporter?.framework or something to that nature that would dump pertinent (HELPFUL!) info into the crash reporter for later review
